- The change in AS/NZS 60335.2.92:2012 Amendment 2:2018 addresses the hazard of unattended closing of a garage door when using your smartphone away from home.
- This change requires that all new installations of smartphone-controlled openers have a safety beam installed from the 1st Dec 2020.

A Smooth Operator
The Garador™ range of Garage Door Openers are smooth operators with a soft start/stop operation that reduces noise and stress on the door by cleverly adjusting speed at the start and end of each cycle. The Garador opener range are equiped with DC powered motors with torque of 1,100N right up to 1,400N depending on model. With optional battery backup available for operation when mains power is temporarily unavailable.
