A Garage Door Tip from Garador Gisborne
Realistically, there are not many areas of New Zealand that do not feel the corrosive effects of salt spray more commonly thought of in costal areas. This will result in a build up of salt deposits on your Garage Door and over time cause corrosion.
It is common for at least the top half of your garage door to be sheltered from the benefits of regular rain washing, so it is important that any salt deposits are cleaned off manually with water and a soft brush monthly.

We caught up with Gisborne dealer Tim Harris to talk about running his business ‘back home’.
A carpenter by trade, Tim returned to his roots after many years in Auckland working in the construction industry on everything from household alterations to high rise buildings. The experience he gained has been invaluable, but the hours and stress levels required weren’t the lifestyle Tim wanted longer term.
He returned to Gisborne, in his words, “to grow up, settle down and have a family”.
