ABOUT GARADOR NORTH CANTERBURY
Operating in the Canterbury region since 2014, GP Garage Doors Ltd is a family owned garage door service. Gerry Payton is the Managing director and has extensive experience in the garage door industry having been involved for close to 20 years. Gerry takes care of all day to day tasks, from the initial site visit to completion of the install or repair.
In early 2020 GP Garage Doors became the authorised Garador distributor for the North Canterbury region. We are very excited to be part of a national network of agents supplying a product of the highest quality and after sales support.

A Garage Door Tip from Garador North Canterbury
Realistically, there are not many areas of New Zealand that do not feel the corrosive effects of salt spray more commonly thought of in costal areas. This will result in a build up of salt deposits on your Garage Door and over time cause corrosion.
It is common for at least the top half of your garage door to be sheltered from the benefits of regular rain washing, so it is important that any salt deposits are cleaned off manually with water and a soft brush monthly.
Simply washing your steel garage door every time you wash your car will go a long way to maintaining the cosmetic appearance of your home for years to come.
